Does he love me, I ask myself once, I ask myself twice,
Does he love me, I guess he might,
But what is this, is this my fright,
I stay up late, and think all night,
Does he love me, I guess he might,
I am confused, I feel so used,
Does he love me, now he must choose,
The path well taken, to hurt me so,
A journey that so many go,
Or I guess he could always stay,
A dream to me that’s far away,
It is his choice, to hear my voice,
To hear what I must say,
It also is his choice, to turn and walk away,
To leave me here, alone again,
I need to know, does he love me,
I guess I’ll see,
Does he love me,
Well...maybe.

Hah, slick ending. I was going to leave a comment criticizing the rhyme and saying that your work might take on a more unique tone/content if you did away with it, but for this piece, the ending made it worthwhile. Nicely done, alone; keep it up.
