I am sure you have heard the saying “love is blind” I never could have imagined how true that was….

Sitting with my one true love,
Everything seemed right,
Little did I know,
What I would learn that night,
Something had come up,
About a hurtful lie,
How he had pretended,
He was such a truthful guy,
He looked at me with saddened eyes,
Said I can’t lie no more,
There is something that you don’t know,
Should have told you before,
Remember all those things I said,
On how I gave up drugs and smokes,
I lied to you I’m sorry,
It was all a joke,
I know I promised on us,
Every single day,
But now I have a problem,
In every single way,
Opium, shrooms, and marijuana,
That is just the start,
I am sorry I waited three years,
I know it wasn’t smart,
But I didn’t want to hurt you,
Didn’t want to see you cry,
When I told you all that you believed,
Was just a hurtful lie,
So almost every day,
I am pretending fake,
Because my life was difficult,
Just too much to take,
So here I sit not breathing,
Not knowing what to do,
My whole world is turning,
And time for me is through,
He told me the choice was mine,
I can leave and go away,
Or we could work together,
If I can only stay,
He told me either way,
That he would understand,
Whatever did happen,
He would still hold my hand,
He told me that there were no more lies,
And forever just the truth,
He told me no more hard drugs,
And that he’d try to kick the boot,
So then I had the choice,
It was mine to make,
I think we’ll try again,
I hope it’s no mistake,
I told him if he lies again,
We will be no more,
I hope that god will save us,
From all that is in store…..
