Weave upon a song of prey,
I did; then upon me it came:
You shine a tragic sun friend,
mutual recognition is a meadow,
sacred to the waking, but come,
feast! on the spider tree, they -
are merely crawling pondering,
silly and wondering;
Pick out those rotten apples,
collect eyes in the thousands,
weave me! a skull of silence.

this is an exceptional piece.the imagery is truly unique...the ending made me visualize all those silly spiders spinning a skull-shaped web, and my mind is caught within its silken strands, waiting patiently for the feast to commence.
