Pavemented Paradise
Morals over masters
our lives are controlled
by non-existent powers
Fate is an empty word
with worthless paths to walk
Parishioners with wide eyed love
Know not the tales they talk
These roads clutter the view
an ocean of cement
a heated hell of painted lanes
and no grass part the fence
A monopoly of manipulation
a governing hierarch
a concession of our Utopian values
our lives lived in uncertainty
