Now to dance, the waking of the souls
And a song to bring in the ghouls
The magic and the fairy dust
Have been lent in our lust

Now for the grossest parade
Deformed monsters creep and masquerade
Avalon yearns for simpler things
When only the fairies had the wings

The Imps of the world twirl in sky
With only their egos left to hide
Beasts of the terrors come up fast
And to your very throat they grasp

Terrible dreams and fits of peaceful sleep
They mark the hours the goblins keep
Dark hallways with decayed stairs
The succubus will take you there

Mighty jaws of fleshes delight
Chow down on your thigh tonite
Little is left, but gristle and bones
Now to hear their belching tones!

Somehow, as I read this, I'm reminded of Christina Rossetti's 'GOBLIN MARKET', a book of poetry. Have you perhaps seen or read it? ~Shane~
