Sweet lullabies to you my love,
And when I say ado,
You will dream of my embrace again,
As I do dream of you,

Your tender heart is true to me,
And your gentle demeanor,
What itches at my wounded heart.
Is that your smile may not linger

Your kiss and touch my skin knows well,
And your presence and hunger,
But what follows me most everyday,
Is that your hearts a sunder

I pray you take good to my vowels,
And nay your eyes go roaming,
For what you miss lays wait at home,
If you can be patient till the morning
