The past softly echoes in my ears.
The road ahead is tangled
Disaster lurking near at hand
And in the darkness, angels

Eyes take in panoramic horizon
As dancers linger in the mists
Sleeping trees and weeping thieves
Courage swims through my veins like fish

Twisted yellow brick road
Now painted black and moaning
Corpses dangle between the leafs
Like apples glistening in the morning

Happy clouds bow to an angry moon
An orchestra of violins and breaking bones
Banshee screams weave in the air
In flies a flock of magenta crows

A happy troupe of carrion lies in a pile
Pelts of a different color shine through the night
And the air hums with working flies
Ruby red puddles are witnesses to their owners plight
