Wasting hate
like aching words
begging to be wretched from my eyes
in the form of payment
like tears and blood
Like heat rising and shimmering off the baked asphalt
my stance wavers like a mirage
And I give way
to a sink hole
illusions and fairytales
dance in the desert that is my brain
this is what my emotions have made
Eternal highway
I am the road kill in my own life path
wilting, withering fragile death
I turn to dust and dance on gales of wind
Hate is an emotion that dust cannot be prescribed
a cancerous cure for an non-existent aliment
