I want to drive so fast my breathe is sucked from my lips
My racing thoughts can no longer keep the pace
I want to get lost on the backroads
past humanity and habitation
I want to pretend to see nothing familiar
A place where no one knows enough about me to care
I want the music so loud that all I can feel are the tears dripping onto my chest
and the damp salty cheeks drying instantly
I want to stumble upon a sanctuary
were my name is not implied
and I have no goals
Like a wounded animal
I want to find somewhere to die

this read a few different ways for me... like turning a crystal in the late day sun... each read had its shine and brilliant colors that made it too attractive to not read over again.... enticing and so much that held such appeal...
