I alone walk under the stars
The darkness envelops me in her midnight shroud
I trip into blackness
The nights robe is long and the stars shine only so bright
The darkness is a covering so nothing real can be seen
A dance of illusions
A mascaraed
Opaque dream
the translucent sheet we see through
the mysteries of the entrenched darkness only call out
Whispering words of pleasure and baiting you
The world of light is so pure beyond crystal magnificences
Would I rather be baited by what I cannot see?
Things that make false promises in my ear
That tell me how beautiful I am?
Or go into the world where you are invisible
the light shines right through you
Happy people with happy smiles wallpaper every surface
I'll keep to my shadows
I'll keep my dark infinity
