I wait with grinning anticipation
eyes trained for the door to open
a smiling face
just for me
But no such door will open
it stays closed
Like a song without a voice
I've become wasted
Looking for few precious moments
one's that I won't come for me
moments where life stands still
but still seems to rush by
I've transcended into a forlorn state
The constant river of time flows
and I am it's struggling victim
in a stagnant whirlpool
A broken record of repetitive decay
What am I waiting for?
The wait has built up inside
If something doesn't happen
I fear of lapsing into madness
lungs imploding
pulling on my hair
my skin crawls with imaginary kisses
Triggers my brain into longing
Just open.
Door
Bring me the person with happy eyes
laughter in his voice
when will this tide be out?
it seems like years
I can wait no longer
I have paced a warped path in the floor
My bed is still as empty as my heart
my eyes still flood
A wraith living a life deluded
injustice of the heart
