You don't believe me, how I bleed
She offered up her arms
There were no cuts
no ribbons of blood

They could not see her anguish
Her pain was all too evident to me
I saw through her like a ghost
Her transparent suffering

Her mask of beauty
Her, a specter of perfect health
Her thoughts couldn't even hide from my eyes
I could hear them like clanging church bells

Her mind reeled on riddles
Her eyes rolled back into her head
She thrashed
Easy was never the answer to her riddle

Poor Cassandra
No one believes you
