Sadness as deep as the night
From homes all over the world
Drips out of the souls of those desperate teens
Who are at crossroads
Crossroads where life must change, will change
And Tears follow, in little rivers, like tiny veins
Some teens drag there feet,
others make these discussions rash and recklessly
The sadness is heavy like a dense fog over this path
And it's is hard to breath in
Some cough, others gag
Some have blood
others have pain
Old bruises and scars are all that remain
This tragic crossroads are not bricked in gold
Happily traveled or sung from old
A depressing path
A mark of maturity
To hit the other side
And come out unscathed
