Metallic taste in my mouth
How quickly those whose love you hold most dear fades
In to the forgotten moonlight of a hurried buried past
So as not to wound those who are quick to fester
Any tear forge will be forged in vain
And most likely dry fast upon the cheek
A pearly cheek of downy felt
A touch of disdain on a small soul
To much to take on at once
Yet not enough to keep going
If anything is to change your pace
A step in the right direction is the only way
That stabbing pain behind the eyes
And all you can see is injustice
the poetry of unspoken words
And the depravity of those who've spoke them
