Please,
won't you say my name?

Just once today,
so that I will know,
in my mind and my heart,
that you will not have forgotten,
or let pass way,
how much I pour my heart for you,
how I love you so.

Tell me that you remember,
the days we spent together,
Tell me you remember who I am,
and how I gave my world to you.
Please just whisper softly,
One more time,
my name.

Please don't let this be the day
That you look past me,
not seeing me,
Trying to remember
A different time,
Another place.

Please,
just say my name today,
It is music to my ears,
a song to remember,
Just please tell me,
do you remember all the happy years?

I promised to be right beside you,
Even now,
you forget,
I promised to hold your hand
and kiss your cheek

How can we let go?
Please,
not just yet.

There are so many more things we need to do,
walks we need to take.

I need more time with you,
more memories to make.

But there is one thing I shoudl tell you,
one thing you need to know,
That as long as this goes on,
no matter the time,
I know you need me as much as I need you,
And I will never move my ground.
