She was living on a dream.
The emptines between you and me
seemed to grow, Like a flower leaning towards the sun,
she bent away. Her delicate sway was for only one
moment in which she could have. A time
where she could feel prime
and never have to scream
in the agony of fear. It would seem
though she tried harder each day,
she would fall. And come that one may
she realized that this was the end
of everything. She begged for a godsend
and found naught but her rotting corpse.
-----
He was living on a dream.
Carrying the weight of the world. Falling apart seam by seam
until he was in a pile of thread
that had no end. But as he knelt before his bed
to pray to the heaves above,
he slowly learned that it was impossiable to ignroe. His one true love
was slowly dying on the inside
as he was forced to watch. He watched her slowly reside
in the pain that was familiar to bear
in her demise. Like a fine piece of jewlery she could wear
but never left her case, he was forced to smile.
But inside he knew it was fake. In side all the while
he couldn't help but break.
-----
Together they were living on a dream.
like a star in the sky they will beam
into oblivion with their love. Keeping a secret of love and hope
he tought her many things, like how to cope.
She taught him to hide it eh emotions and how to read
Her. And he watched her, catching every single bead
of stress to help her survive
her pain. He needed her alive
to help him learn to live life
and when he saw her he asked her, to be his wife
for the rest of time.
-----
Together they are a dream.
And though they silently scream
for one another, they know there can never be
another. Falling in love is not for me
nor is it for you. But together we can make
love work. Just reach you hand out and take
mine in yourse so forever we may
smile. When I look at you, I know I can say
without falter
that there at the alter
I will say I do.
