You always said
I was all you’d ever need
And reluctantly
I did believe
You always said
Three words that meant nothing
But they meant
The world to me
And look at us now
Two worlds away
And it’s cold here without you
To keep me company
I guess with time I realize
This is here to stay
But I’m so reluctant to give in
And just let you be
You always said
I was worth so much
It’s amazing how fast
You changed your mind
You always said
I changed your life
And I guess it’s true
You’re just like a clone
And look at how things
Have turned out now
Avoiding the contact
Turning me down
Denying the fact that
We once had so much
And I’m ashamed to say
I really miss you way too much
