i'd give anything
just to trace
the outline of your jaw,
the hard lines of your face..

when you greet me with that
hypnotic stare,
my heart aches
i cannot bear..

one more breath
without you near,
when i sleep at night
it's your voice i hear,

whispering, echoing
in my brain,
sometimes i know
i can't maintain,

this peaceful distance,
it's so hard to try..
it's times like this
i'd love to die..

i didnt like this one as much, i felt that it was too much like a lot of the poetry you find around here. angsty. but i have seen brilliance from you, so it wont stop me from reading.

delicately woven words of sadness, the last stanza wrapped it up so nicely..well done again. ~b

Such lovely pain is spun by romance. Admittedly, I found your other works more brilliant than this, though this remains well above par. You write very well... I will be reading.
