Sing to me oh sweetling
release me from this dream
of princes' grown old and grey
and mermaids out of sea

Sing to me of princesses fair and young
of unicorns so pure and white
clouds of angels to guide those passed
to the gates of the gods

Sing to me now of great beasts
in oceans too deep for mere mortals
of fisherman who've caught the lore
in nets pure gold

Sing to me sweetling
of long ago fairy tales
and near forgotten dreams
