wrapped in silk-

wrapped in silk
cloaked in stars
i feel the rain beating down
the moonlight makes my pale skin glow
my makeup smudged from others tears
i still hear your soft voice in here with me
telling me, "i'll be with you soon, love"
then the stars slowly fade to darkness
and i am alone

*this is the first poem i did. i entered it in a writing contest, sadly it didn't win. but i hold it dear to me still.*
