For You

Not only do I love you for who you are
I love you for the tender kissed you place on my forehead when you say goodbye
And for the light touch you place on my shoulders when I weep
I love to sleep by your side in the warm sun of a cool spring day
I also love you for the sweet things you whisper in my ear to make me smile
Not only do I love you for who you are
I love you for what you make of me
