I hate that we can't be together
That the gods are keeping us apart
I hate that she can't be a mother
That she's tearing at your heart
I hate that I love you so completely
That I ran into this like a fool
I hate that all this love hurts me
That it pains me deep down in my tender soul
I hate that I can't love you
That we have to be apart because they tell us to
I hate that I can't express it
That my feelings can't manifest like they want to
Yet
I love that you can say it all with just one look
That your love holds no bounds
I love the smile that you give only me
That through all this heartache you keep me sound
I love when we embrace in secret
That can lay for hours without saying a word
I love the longing in your kisses
That everything I'm thinking is somehow heard
I love everything about you
That your love is so pristine and pure
I love everything about us
That no matter what I will always be yours
