People say don't judge a book by its cover,
but they do anyway.
No one gives a shit about the person they hurt, make fun of, or ignore.
Hypocritical world we live in.
"I would never!!” is what everyone hears but the truth is the opposite.
Why would people hurt the ones they supposedly love?
Why would people put down the ones they supposedly envy?
Strange, the way people perceive pain or pleasure or love.
I've lived a life full of pain, full of deceit and full of loss.
And yet I continue to try to find the tiniest happiness that would make my life worthwhile,
But to no avail.
I postpone the inevitable, for the sake of giving what I have learned to those as misfortunate as myself, but why?
There is no pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
There is no winning lottery number.
How long must one endure the suffering and pain?
How long must one live life knowing that this day will be identical to tomorrow?
Don’t judge a book by it's cover.
But you will.
