Two heavy tears fell down these cheeks
tired and dull fell on the glass
it waited today, it waited last night
and no one came, and no one is coming.
The glass dissolved, weary and poignant
with two tear drops claiming desire

Whenever you shall return,
I will wait for you here
The place where dreams intersect
the ones that never die,
in the womb of words
begging for hope.

I will pray for sanity
Pray that I can close my eyes and dream
Dream of you without me
Dream that we are alone
That we aren’t left mute

and if I don’t wait for you
don’t you cry my dear
know I was washed away
to another world

but wait for me wherever you are
I will become the breeze
and you will never be alone,
never again alone.
