I would love some money
Flying away from here…
But I look out of the window
Slowly it’s starting to rain
Long and empty afternoons
Dark as old galleries
This damn humidity that won’t stop
Hangs on the skin
As I struggle to take a hold of the pen
And write you a letter
Everything would swap
If you were here with me
Because within this being
There is the bareness
That you once left
And no one will steal it away
Did you know
That I still think of you?
Did you know
That when a star comes down it’s for us
That I breathe your memories
In a slow replay
Did you know
That the dark is consuming the rainbow
There is no more water in the sea
That the sun doesn’t warm me anymore
I am far away
I know you have for long told the story
Of an impossible love
You have shared the secret
To eternal pain
If I knew that you though of me
A light of hope would shine upon
I try to get out of this madhouse
Is it still raining? Or are these just tears?
Did you know
That I still think alone?
That I promised to never think of you
That I grasp this story with my hands
