The day long-awaited finally arrives
sweet taste of freedom
of victory

Fulfillment of all needs, what I was once deprived
A way out of this trap
of misery

just one more step to go before seeing the light
blinding light of freedom
of victory

sweaty palms before ascending into paradise
now able to shun this world
of wretched misery

a world of white intensifies, i cannot see
this too bright freedom
this victory

the terror once more grips my heart and mind
i crawl into my hole
of misery
