A lifeless creature
left to rot
upon
the highway
called life

Fell victim

to love

oblivious

to the hazards

that come with it


struck down
by the
relentless
wrecking machine
named rejection

blinded
by the
false light
of implicit trust



A feast
for the
vultures

Soon all remnants
of my demise
will be gone

And all that

will remain
    
   is

just another

bloody stain
