I hear you moaning…but then you succumb to a myasthenic halt … submerging in a deluge of hypnotic sedation that I did not administer… you breathe… paralyzed… embracing your transcending catatonia…

How can you will me to move when my paralytic fears enslave me to perpetual bondage? When your mere presence makes ‘them’ draw out, veil after gossamer veil of sadness…yes… seven layers of sadness, placed upon this bony casket that harbors my mangled heart. With ‘them’ observing my crippled soul…you dare expect me to breathe?

With tremulous hands, I lift your clammy arm…. fumbling for the flailing pulse to testify to the mere echo of life, circulating within the chasms of your crumbling cortex…. Cataleptic salutation validates your existence like a Madame Tussauds wax figure, contriving me to swallow your presence as real…

Real? You don’t know what real is! This world isn’t real… it is the mere projection of someone’s dream… metamorphosed into the nightmare that it is…but the silken rope of melancholia, taut around the slender neck of all my debauched hope is real…this vile poison of hate that desecrates my once sanctified body is real… the putrid, defiling wound, etched onto the once pristine soul by the clawed hands my demonic fate is real…the wretched filth that taints everyone’s amputated thoughts is real… ‘they’ who did this to me are real……..you…. you in your blind, deaf and mute subsistence…with your myopic dogmatic perceptions…you think you’re real?

I withdraw from your cataleptic countenance…forsaking you like a puppet - severed from all strings that held it within the frivolously circumscribed realms of sanity…but…. walking away… had I read the anguish lurking behind your paralytic gaze, I would have been tempted to concur with you… but then again…. if I had… ‘they’ would all think I am mad…..
