Striving to incise this veil
Covering your comatose core,
The disease ridden glory
You have prostrated before...

Stench of putrid fear rains
Acrid on your shallow breaths,
Track embellished veins ooze
Funerals of your million deaths.

Succumbs the flailing heart
Choking on the morphine tear,
Life collapses behind the curtain
Of your paralyzed miotic stare....

I like this so much, I'm crushed. It makes me feel so small, so insignificant, so... I just don't know. If I blink, I am embraced by your words there. ~Shane~
