Numb these fragile senses to the pain,
Bar your doors to the frigid screams,
Nail shut the distant crevices of your soul –
That may seep to taint your vacant dreams.

Close your eyes to the bleeding visions
The maimed people in your head,
Tighten the shackles around the hands
That still long to caress the dead.

Break the cobweb ridden mirrors
Revealing your disease stricken vanity,
For how else would you ever survive –
All that crumbles behind your mask of sanity…

Very good. This reminds me a bit of Mother Teresa when she lived in Calcutta. We need more people like you in the world to unravel our own masks. Thank you. ~Shane~
