I replaced you
So I erased you
I don't remember needing you too much
You never hurt me
You just avert me
I never could have told you enough
I explained it
Now you remain in
A newscopy of circular statements
So then you hurt me
So not a word, please
If you're not making proper arrangements

And I don't believe
I really could have been that important
It took too much to see
But I was young, you coulda gave me a warning
I just don't really
Want you to come back to me

I forgot you
OK, that's not true
But I didn't think of you much
And now I'm vital
While you're still idle
Funny that it's not a crush
Within a peer review
She's famous just like you
You didn't get there by working hard
With either vision
Your indecision
Hold on, my brother just got hit by a car

Thank god for preparation
He was broken by the glass
I do everything with automation
The car wasn't even going that fast
I know you'd get someone to cover
Driver probably didn't even see
I wonder if he'll ever drive again
After what happened to me
It's designed pain, really
You know that he's important to me

I forget you
But I accept you
Or at least from what I recall
One to rely on
And one to cry on
Seperate, one from all
I left the late night
I'm doing something right
At least she has an excuse
So then I called you
I really called you
It's a minor form of self-abuse

And I know you received
My letter marked on Thursday
In 2003
You weren't waiting everyday
I found you from being assertive
And you left when I lost the touch
I never got to be so perverted
You were never quite enough
I just don't really
Want you to come back to me
I just don't really
Want you to come back to me
I just don't really
Want you to come back to me

Thirteen women I had known
But you were going to be there to the end
Twelve less women I had known
My generation isn't known for amends
We would have never made good friends
