Wanted: A function, mapping itself
Relationship between two groups
Generates constant, collects all the rest
Gradually moving toward zero

Tuesday, abandoned math class is sitting
Seperately in their rooms
Spread out your packets, or maximize time
Efficient, against itself

Safer to watch, try not to point
We're close enough to the screen
Tired of waiting for the sound to go off
Sleeping for lack of time

Dead-armed, awake before you're sleeping
Won the dance, where's the trophy

No one wants to know so we're hiding
A few days off would be quite enough
Looks like the tractors are plowing together
No one can play that game anymore

We all wrote off new science together
Procedure makes a philistine
Everyone started clapping again
I never have silent dreams
We all forgot the tools we'd been using
Retreated back to the trees
Everyone started hiding again
The holes on the floor aren't there anymore

Ninety-five percent of all songs have been written
The other five are halfway through
Weighted the averages, wrote out the rest
Never a hundred through

We're on rails, barrelling through tunnels
The scenes are scenic cause there's nobody to blame

Secretly new, but mostly outside
August is left to endure
Three in the middle and three that oppose
The temperate zones distracting the most

We all wrote off new science together
Procedure makes a philistine
Everyone started clapping again
I never have silent dreams
We all forgot the tools we'd been using
Retreated back to the trees
Everyone started hiding again
The holes on the floor aren't there anymore

Eighteen more hours from synthetic lights
Ugly obtain
Colder maintain.

I think that novels that leave out technology misrepresent life as badly as Victorians misrepresented life by leaving out sex.
