Sleep for as long as you want
I don't care
Maybe the reason that I can't
Pay attention is that I just don't think about it anymore
You dig the physical stuff
All the boxes
That all make walls that you can
Grab hold of the cables and swing swing swing through them all
She thinks about
Everything that couldn't go right
Self-esteem never liked her too much
I'm finally sure that I'm going to die
I can't resolve
The abandoned consciousness
When you die
You're just gone
Except for the complete loss of time
I'm forever animated
In this abcess of time
When I'm old and growing deader
Perhaps we just start over
Maybe we start to go backwards
But everything we percieve isn't just in a spatial world
It's just a movie screen
Maybe no one changed the picture
You like it when I travel
So I came here from Manitoba
I hope we finally figured out the weather
She thinks about
Accepting grace and finally defaulting
You don't have the right job
Because you never saw the right newspapers
Maybe everyone's tired
Maybe everyone's alert
Outside the inner, but inside the outer
Everyone knows superlatives best
But the best never came without a competitor
We never think of mediocres
We never notice
Unless it's ours or someone we know
Maybe we'd do fine to take a little time to acknowledge those not with us
No one can get into this hotel
