I've got a song about the radio
Playing the song I'm on
The most thrilling metapoetry won't stop
The song that I'm on

I've got a bad thing going on in back of my mouth
I've got a real slick feeling about my mouth
You've got no idea exactly what I'm trying to do
I don't want anything from you

It's a healthy heart that must make you think this is progress
Sound minds ignore all the issues of congress
And if it isn't worth it then why even think
About worrying for healthy heart
I know you've got it where it counts and that negates all the facets
That you don't think are multilingual at all
But to have it where it counts
Isn't half as good as spelling it out

You've got your shiny new decoder ring
And it works as it should
But everyone else keeps shifting their keystone
And without the pattern it ain't no good

I've got a code encrypted inside itself
You can't get it unless you guess or you are itself
Until you figure it's the timing, not the code
Because it's only just a string of O's

If you can't figure out what they're saying
Find footing before you jump on the merry-go-round
If you can't figure out what they're saying
Just adjust your consonants a little

It's a healthy heart that must make you think this is progress
Sound minds ignore all the issues of congress
And if it isn't worth it then why even think
About worrying for healthy heart
I know you've got it where it counts and that negates all the facets
That you don't think are multilingual at all
But to have it where it counts
Isn't half as good as spelling it out

Take the forty across to stay away from Pittsburgh
We'd scrap this whole state if it all relied on Pittsburgh
Eight year olds all know there's nothing to see in Pittsburgh
We can go around or hop right over Pittsburgh

From on high the state looks alright
But that steady glow that comes at night
Is a wall of fire that says
Get the fuck away from Pittsburgh

After years of clamoring for an NHL franchise, Philadelphia finally got one when the league expanded in 1967 for the first time in 40 years. The new teams were hampered by restrictive rules that kept all major talent with the "Original Six". The Flyers' top goal scorer that first season, Leon Rochefort, scored only 21 times.

All six new franchises were placed into the "Western Division", where the Flyers finished first in their inaugural season. They would be upset by the St. Louis Blues in the first round of the playoffs, in 1968. In 1969, they were swept in four straight by the same Blues. In 1970, they missed the playoffs altogether.

The Flyers would prove by the early 1970s that they could challenge the original six.
