Skywriter
Hold a lighter for the
Rock show in the park
Even later
In the elevator
There's a reason for making out the better
Hello friendliness
I think I maybe said some things to you
That I wasn't supposed to
Negotiator
I'll pay you twenty bucks to blow this job
A third party isn't needed

Evaporator
Catering for the hollywood premiere
Glamour is too far exciting to be crass
Sensibility
I am hopelessly stricken for my counterpart
The manager of the bank got married to a woman of airy substance

The rope is getting tighter
I guess the idea is to emulate a wall
Two immovable objects in opposing motion
The rope is straight across
My head in the distance hoping
I'll call you soon
Please come again
Please come again

You'd be surprised
At how nobly misleading my formula appears
That's a ridiculous sort of fear
I walk down that familiar road in vain
I know lies bring rain
It's uncomfortably cold in this warm room

Understander
What better than another suggestive image
To keep me walking on the riverbank
Aftersleeper
I'm against the written word
I no longer need a reason
No one ever needs a reason to be dead

The rope is getting tighter
I guess the idea is to emulate a wall
Two immovable objects in opposing motion
The rope is straight across
My head in the distance hoping
I'll call you soon
Please come again
Please come again

The rope is getting tighter
I guess the idea is to not fuck up
This wire keeps the walls from falling apart
A straight shot downtown
I'm calling bullshit in the city
I'll hold you soon
Don't call here
Just come here

I guess I want to be around you
By Monday
I guess I'd like to touch you
Before I forget about yesterday
Before this feeling in my legs goes away

The rope is getting tighter
I guess the idea is to not fuck up
This wire keeps the walls from falling apart
A straight shot downtown
I'm calling bullshit in the city
I'll hold you soon
Don't call here
Just come here

I don't mind
Your reprieve of good intentions

i loved this; and again i had a self-made tune accompany my reading of it; your cadence and rhythms are excellently constructed... and "I am hopelessly stricken for my counterpart" is great. damn fine.
