I am not interested in what you have to say about reruns
Your triple tier is not life changing if I have to wait until January
Hey, I wish you would listen to me
It's gonna be a bad day and I want your blessings
I won't be sleeping tonight
At least it's not from lack of trying
I'm in direct disobedience
I don't hope for tomorrow

The left side of my doorway has led to two different rooms
The right side stays steady
I don't clean my desk anymore, It's just not worth it
I'm blatantly refusing

Take me from TV land
I've got richer reruns than
I am just about ready to go explore my basement
The only problem is what would you think?
I am thirteen years old
And sometimes I am sad

Blue room tan splotches
It's only a shadow

There's a poster that fell down the other day
It won't stay up but I give up
Hold on for just one second
Think Think Thinking is doing
I submit to you for your consideration
A form letter for apathy

They worry that I don't care
They worry that life's gone down the drain because of that
They worry about their taxes
I like math a lot
Maybe they should ask me

Take me from TV land
I've got richer reruns than
I am just about ready to go explore my basement
The only problem is what would you think?
I am thirteen years old
And sometimes I am sad

And sometimes
I've got a little bit of robot in this cyborg
And all the time I'm wishing I could just sleep backwards
And all the rhymes contribute to melody and cadence
I'm quite worried that I'll still have a cold
The weather is getting cold
Before
I die I would much like
To fall asleep in my skirt
And maybe stay asleep
And not get up
Unless of course
I was going to die

Take me from TV land
I've got richer reruns than
I am just about ready to go explore my basement
The only problem is what would you think?
I am thirteen years old
And sometimes I am sad

When I was little I didn't understand these feelings
Just a boy and just an afternoon
Six more hours and six more
