You're the best and worst thing that has happened to me
I don't seem to apologize when it's never
And when everyday I find a new way
To undercut my sadness, to analyze my self-conciousness.
One two three four five six seven eight nine
Ten to five
Five to three
And three to ten all over again
I'm worried so much that these New Modern Limits
Serve to remind me that there's no bitter end
Hanging on the edge of the interesting box
I've grown up with an internet brainwave
And my estranged burning sickle cells
Are both our excuse for having another throat to pull at
There's always a throat to pull at
Why can't I peer down your throat
Ten to five
Five to three
And three to ten all over again
I'm worried so much that these New Modern Limits
Serve to remind me that there's no bitter end
I can't decide
Whether to invest in steel or ignore the market all over gain
This wait just makes it over again
I don't see
I tried to defend you
I don't know why
I don't even know you
I shouldn't try
I tried to defend you
And I still don't know why
Ten to five
Five to three
And three to ten all over again
I'm worried so much that these New Modern Limits
Serve to remind me that there's no bitter end
I can't decide
Whether to invest in steel or ignore the market all over again
This wait just makes it over again
I don't see
