Take a circle
At four places
Break the line
Form four faces
Flip the edges
Along chords
Join the corners
And a star is formed
Open a map
On your computer
Match one point to places I go
Spin the star
Form a circle
Maybe it will point to people I know
And I just found out that all my friends
Live on right angles from people I know
And they all live in a concentric circle
Around people knowing people who I never thought they'd know
Get in your car
Find a road
Rent a movie
And go back home
Watch the movie
Back to the store
On the same day
Get a dollar more
Fill a queue
On your computer
They'll send you movies in the mail
Save your money
Buy a new TV
And you can pick up on the finer details
And I just found out that all my friends
Have already seen the movies that I want to see
So I can stay home and watch them myself
And now everyone's watching movies that I don't really want to see
I never watch TV with anyone I know
I just get a blanket and watch it alone
It's so warm outside but I'm feeling kind of cold
It's just enough since this blanket's sort of old
Draw a picture
Of whatever
I don't care
Nor did I ever
What you're drawing
Don't want to see
I guess later
OK, I'll peek
Sketch the first thing
That you think of
Once you're done flip over the sheet
Try the same thing
Draw it backwards
I hope that that's not supposed to be me
And I just found out that all my friends
Have no idea what I look like
So I could make friends with them on new terms
And see what that is like
To meet someone who doesn't know me
