A drip of joy in an ocean
Of pain fear and sadness,
The paranoid dreams of darker days,
Laced with loneliness,
Shared by endless night and
Everlasting shadows that envelop the soul,
On this eternal journey through torn flesh,
And shattered dreams.
I will as always
Lick my wounds
And bandage my heart
As I continue to move forward
Or cease to move at all
