I sit on my shadow,
Crouching in a corner,
I sit by myself,
I want you beside me,
I want to hold you,
I want to hold...

How long will the blade,
Stay away from my wrists,
Stay still in my hand,
Motionless, a calm still;

I drink my coffee,
From an ice cold mug,
I sit by myself,
I want you to see me,
I want to hold you,
I want to hold...

How long will my eyes,
Stay blind to the world,
Stay still in my head,
Motionless, a calm still;

I sit alone again,
Staring at you,
Willing your eyes to me,
I want you to feel me,
I want to hold you,
I want to hold...

How long will you escape me,
Stay away from me,
Ignoring me till I fade away,
But I'm motionless,
A calm still;

Why am I waiting,
For the nothing,
That sits alone,
On the other side,
Of the empty room,
The nothing that I want to hold;
You.
