I look away,
Not to see you,
I hold back my tears,
The ones I don't have.
I wished you'd be silent,
I thought you were here,
Then I looked at you,
And saw you were really gone,
Red eyed and stupid,
You grabbed me,
And I backed away.

Stay away from me,
Pathetic smiles,
Come across from your face.
Stay away from me,
I'm not here you see.

Punctured arms look old,
Abused by their owner,
Now ready to flow,
Away from the needle,
But it's too late now,
It's too late.

Stay away from me,
Pathetic smiles,
Come across from your face.
Stay away from me,
I'm not here you see,
Not anymore.
I'm lost somewhere,
Trying to come back,
But I'm blinded by stupid smiles,
So many stupid smiles...

(The smiles of other adicts in rehab)

incredibly well done, empty smiles never said so much.
