If words could talk,
They would tell you,
The things I never could,
The truth that lies,
Within my heart,
Things I feel and never should,
If words could talk,
They would tell you,
How you have darkened my days,
To become my beacon,
My ray of light,
That guides me from far away,
If words could talk,
They would say,
How much I care for you,
But the words I use,
Were never good,
To dictate a love so true.
If words could talk,
Would you listen,
Or be deafened by your mind,
Or would you feel,
The same way too,
And help guide a love so blind;

If words could talk...
