The silver years we'll never lose,
Fell out of our palms and flew away,
We reach out to feel them one last time,
And we ran amongst mirrors of yesterday;

The seas we flew over in past lives,
Have now been dry for days,
We forgot to send letters once again,
To moon beams in sun rays.

Lost inside the clouds in a black sky,
Upon mountains of rain,
I saw the dreams that we once had,
Run away again.

I used to think that we we're meant to be,
To live forever by each others side,
Now I know it's true as the devils grip,
Amongst Saints and Angels it let us hide.

Lost inside the clouds in a black sky,
Upon mountains of rain,
I saw the dreams that we once had,
Run away again.

That's a shame.
