Mired
beneath the ego
the panacea of life
lay hidden
to all but a select few
this -
mans greatest treasure
remains
unseen,
unheard,
unknown

For
those who explore
its depths
driven by
that primal urge
which says
'know thyself'
find therein
life itself
and its reward -
heaven

Such
is the very soul
of man
could he but free himself
from the egos
homespun web
of selfish passions
and petty desires
and finally know
truth in -
liberation

Free the soul
Free the soul
Free the soul
Free the soul
