Tread softly upon the heart of man

For tucked away in those fragile chambers

Lay not only his power and glory

But his weakness and demise as well

Surely,

All his hopes and dreams, loves and passions

As well as

All his hate and malice, envy and rage

Reside within that sacred vault

Yes -

Tread softly upon the heart of man

Less your footsteps reverberate

Through hallowed halls

And bring crashing down

Those ancient walls

That house the ego

And silence

It's calls

This reminded me of an old Christian hard rock song.. "Pray for the Heart of Man." Everheard of it? I think you would like it. Well written. Good insight. -Michael

beautifully written. There's such a gentle tenderness and honesty in this, and it reads so smooth and deep. Perfectly done.

I want to copy this and nail it to the walls of every place intentional will ful harm has ever been done. Then i want to scream it in the ears of the spiteful, hateful, and oppresive. Then if they listen I will be free.

aslo I was reminded of "He wishes for the cloths of heaven" by W. B. Yeats though only by the title. All they have encommon is the language and their depth. I liked this one better though =}
