The tone of your words
form threads
sappy and viscous
with the essence of lies
meant to elude
both me and my truth
Yet I am laced into a tarnished charriot
and flown through skies
where your decietful eyes form twin moons
haunting me away from slumber
Where every star is just a strung memory
and farthest yonder hangs the most avoided
shining so brightly with all it's caused pain
As you continue on with your flow of this verbal torture
i'm sent careening
through the hell of all I tried to forget
This truthful reality
stabbing like lightning through my heart
You shut your mouth
Not by mercy, but for lack of breath
My charriot falls
its threaded straps break
and I, so very ungracefully, drop to your feet
A sobbing child
Limp and defenseless
Sopping with cold sweat and burning tears
Needing to be wrung out, like yesterdays laundry
But your hands hold too tight
You take me and break me
Now as the stars fall
I gather up my memories
all crashed apart
and lace myself together
with the strings they once hung upon
then I pray that they'll never be put back together
like in the sky you mercilessly sent me sailing through
