Skeletons with knives
   slashing my mind,
      begging for justification
      Be brought back to life.

RESURFACE the old angers
 Intolerable suffering
  Crimson sweetness
Naked Writhing Corpse!!
      within my reformed soul

Forgot what it was like

Savory release, PASSION!
Spilling the cup,
  losing the faith
What the fuck, for old times sake
Rusted razor, all it takes
Quick slash here, small gash there
Ease the pain, no one'll care
The bliss of creation, take that for divine!
This is what you created, look what I've done!
Smile on me now, you spiteful bastard
Smile at your children killing themselves

~*~*~*~

A year and a half, gone down the drain
Happyness lost, now full of pain
Unlight my candle, let in the frost
Darkness has come, the PROMISE is lost.

Love the last line, makes all of the horrific and wonderful gruesom(sp.?) details even more beautiful. *J*

Wonderful rhyme scheme on a not-so-wonderful subject...though I don't much care for cutting(seen too many friends use that for release), this piece hit me where it hurts (the heart). Lovely job. *Evangel*
