on my knees
swallowing my
denial,my mouth
wide open

i am leaning
against an open
window

and i am down.
sleep will not
come for long

you are up
and how far
have you gone.

i can't feel.
i feel unworthy,
and so worth it

 that i try to
let it subside,
but everything you
need is making
things worse,

so soon i
will be alone.
i pretend.
break up

my thoughts
and can i
reach you.
