i watched the flame
go out,
under your intense gaze
Intimidated by the
passion covered by
  Indifference

to what the world
offers me,
lies sleeping memories
shaken by the past

woken by the future,
a bittersweet feeling
washes over me

  one of Stark Realism,
dashing my make-believe
Morals

  on a flip-side of
mistakes, furthering my
Education
made Humble in comparison
to your Grande Charade

a Spy in the Inside
of a land I cease to
understand.
