Flattered and given a rose that withers
and dries-
Fragile to the touch
unknown to the blind follower.
Mysterious,
in a given lust (of course)
But this lie, these words and a blessed curse
She seemed to trust.

Her Faith is followed through by the given drip of a
Butterfly's blood-
the suicide of something "made new"
-And then made old by a not-so-gentle squeeze.

Lifeless and cold
Her blood is d r a i n e d
No oxygen left--->maybe
this means there is final(ly) hope

beyond her breath she bathes in.

This is so tragic...the pain your breathe...it's magical, in a way...the way you pulled it all together...I'll hold this poem very dear to me for a long time.
